Lokatte is a free IP intelligence workspace operated as a product of Webstume LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use the website or the installable progressive web app.

Information we process

Depending on how you use the service, we may process:

Your public IP address and related geolocation or network metadata returned by our lookup providers (such as location, ISP, and ASN).
Addresses you manually submit for lookup.
Client environment details collected in your browser (for example operating system, browser, language, screen size, and User-Agent) to populate the on-page report.
Basic technical logs that may be generated by hosting, CDN, or server infrastructure (such as request timestamps).

How we use information

To detect and display your public IP and related metadata.
To resolve manual IP lookups you request.
To generate on-screen reports and optional exports (PDF, TXT, JSON, clipboard, print, or share).
To operate, secure, and improve the service.

Client-side processing

Browser and device details shown in the report are generally read locally in your browser for display and export. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not intentionally build marketing profiles from your lookups.

Third-party services

Geolocation and network metadata are retrieved through ip-api.com. That provider processes the IP address necessary to return lookup results under its own terms and privacy practices. We also rely on standard hosting and delivery infrastructure to serve the app.

Cookies and local storage

We may use local storage or similar browser storage for functional preferences such as theme selection and progressive web app behavior. We do not use these mechanisms to sell your personal data.

Data retention

Lookup results you view or export are primarily handled in your session and on your device. We do not operate a user account database for this product. Server or provider logs, if any, are retained only as needed for security, abuse prevention, and reliable operation.

Your choices

You can stop using the service at any time, clear browser storage, uninstall the PWA, and avoid submitting IP addresses you do not want looked up. For privacy questions, contact us using the details on our Contact page.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of Lokatte after changes means you accept the updated policy.
