Workflow

How cookies work here

A quick look at what happens from the moment you arrive — four simple steps, fully in your control.

  1. You visit Lokatte

When you open the site, your browser loads the app — no account and no sign-up needed.

  2. We set minimal cookies

Only essential storage is created to keep the app working and to record your consent choice.

  3. Preferences are remembered

Optional storage remembers choices like your light or dark theme, so it loads the way you left it.

  4. You stay in control

Accept or decline from the banner anytime, or clear cookies from your browser whenever you like.

Legal

Cookies Policy

How Lokatte uses cookies and similar browser storage when you detect or look up public IP addresses, view network details, or set preferences.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser by the websites you visit. Alongside similar technologies such as localStorage, they let a site remember information between visits — for example your theme choice — so the experience stays consistent.

How we use cookies

Lokatte keeps its use of cookies and browser storage deliberately minimal. We rely on them to:

  • Remember your light or dark theme preference so the interface loads the way you left it.
  • Record whether you have acknowledged our cookie notice, so it is not shown on every visit.
  • Keep the installable progressive web app working reliably through your browser.

Types of cookies we use

The storage we set falls into two categories:

  • Essential — required for core functionality such as remembering your consent choice and keeping the app usable. These cannot be switched off within the app.
  • Preference — optional storage that remembers choices like your theme to improve your experience.

Cookies we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data. Any analytics or third-party lookup providers process requests to return IP and network information; they do not receive tracking cookies from us for cross-site advertising.

Managing your cookies

You can accept or decline using the cookie banner that appears on every page, and you can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Removing essential storage may reset your preferences or cause parts of the app to behave unexpectedly until they are set again.

Changes to this policy

This Cookies Policy may be updated periodically. The date shown at the top of the page indicates the latest revision. If you have questions, contact us via the Contact page or info@Webstume.com.
